Building on the selected themes of poverty and homelessness, the Social Concerns Committee has looked for projects that would involve personal participation, as well as financial contributions and efforts to influence public policy to address the needs of the less fortunate. On two occasions members of the parish joined in a workday for the Truckee Meadows chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
