The Vestry is the governing body of an Episcopal Church, elected to represent the people of the Parish. At St. Stephen's, our vestry is made up of five Parish members, the Senior Warden and the Junior Warden (similar to President and Vice President). The Wardens and Vestry members are elected at the Annual Parish Meeting held each May, and serve three-year terms of office. It is important to the Vestry that all parishioners feel welcome to share their thoughts and ideas about God's vision for us as a Christian community and how to make that vision a reality at St. Stephen's. Parishioners are welcome to attend the meetings, which are held monthly. Also, you are encouraged to speak with any of the Vestry members about your ideas for St. Stephen's. |
