The Reverend Rick Sorensen (Priest).

Rick Sorensen has been a volunteer priest at St. Stephen's for eight years. His 'day job' is manager of public relations for IGT, the Reno-based gaming machine manufacturer. He's married to Ellen (25 years this year), has four children, and loves rock 'n' roll, good writing, liberal thinking, the beauty of well-played basketball, and movies like 'The Lord of the Rings,' 'Brazil' and 'Koyaanisqatsi' (some of which he's used in his homilies). He's currently involved in the Alternatives to Violence Project in the Carson City men's prison, the Lifecycles study group, the Ministry Development and Support Team, and St. Stephen's liturgy committee.
