The clergy at St. Stephen's are called within the community. Our priests and deacons are not paid and most have full time jobs outside the parish. Presently serving are: The Rev. Sherry Dunn (priest), a writer and former college instructor; The Rev. Rick Sorensen (priest), a public relations director; The Rev. Bill Cowans (priest), a retired priest; and The Rev. Mike Margerum (deacon), an accountant. Katherine McCall, a physics professor, and Susan Palwick, an English professor, are "preachers in training" and participate regularly as homilists.
