Ecopalians are ecologically aware and environmentally concerned Episcopalians and like minded individuals caring for God's creation.
They meet in the parish hall at Saint Stephen’s at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays for food, wine and thoughtful discussions. Everyone is welcome to join them.
As Ecopalians, we are motivated by the Millennium Development Goals.
The 8 Millennium Development Goals are: Goal 1: Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger Goal 2: Achieve universal primary education Goal 3: Promote gender equality and empower women Goal 4: Reduce child mortality Goal 5: Improve maternal health Goal 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases Goal 7: Ensure environmental sustainability Goal 8: Develop a Global Partnership for Development
The Ecopalians are collecting books, CDs, DVDs, videos, etc. for re-sale, with proceeds given to help achieve the Millennium Development Goals. This is a self pricing continuous sale on the tables at the east end of the parish hall. Bring what you think might interest someone else and take what interests you. Use the honor system cash box to pay what you think is appropriate.
St. Stephen's is also selling cloth grocery bags for $5.00 each. Stop by the parish hall to purchase yours. Profits are being used to support the Millennium Development Goals.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Respect. Rethink. Restore.
